If you do then the Magnifica 3300 has a good Reheat feature which keeps your coffee at a nice heat for those extra cups. Of course this is not indefinite, but that is a rule for any coffee, don't let it sit too long as it will lose it's freshness.

The electronic thermostat makes sure brewing temperatures are accurate and the adjustable spigot is made for making different sizes cups.

The ESAM3300 Magnifica is flexible and can do everything from tiny espressos upto tall mugs. It also has a Cappucino System that rotates 180 degrees and so can suit milk containers of different sizes.

For anyone who is a bit absent minded or rushing out of the door to work after your morning coffee there is also a 3-hour auto shutoff function.

If there is one thing all expresso coffee maker owners despise it's cleaning out the machine. With the ESAM3300 Magnifica this could be said to have been changed from "awful" to "not so bad"! This is achieved by using a removable water reservoir that allows very easy and fast maintenance. So where with some machines the job is hard and you put if off, which results in bad calcium build ups, this need not happen with the 3300 unless you are very lazy about it! The machine also tells you when you need to decalcify.

Cons and Complaints

There's a bit of weekly upkeep needed.

Make sure you use good beans. I've found that only non oily, 100% Arabica are good and that oily beans can clog it up. (we have also seen some users saying this isn't a problem so are not 100% on this con)

Cup warmer isn't very good. However with double walled this is not a problem.

It does not have an auto turn on function but as it has a fast warm up it is not too much of a problem.

It's rather noisy.

The manual appears to have been written by someone with English as a 2nd language. It can take a while to work some things out.

The grounds container fills irregularly which can make the warning light go off prematurely so you end up emptying more often than you need to.
