which is better, verizon or at&t ?

I wanted a smart phone...verizon has the free one LG Vortex and it looked cool. what i don't wanna pay is the extra 30$ a month.
is at&t cheaper? im kinda getting sick of verizon anyways......

Whether one is better than the other depends on where you live. No carrier has great service everywhere. Yes, AT&T has a $15/month smart phone data plan but it's only for 200mb. That's just about nothing for a smart phone. At least with unlimited data, you never have to worry about overages.
