Tecknika lcd tv picture problem?

Can anyone tell me what might be wrong with my 2mth old tv please? Sound is fine amd there is a picture but the image is very distorted, like an old photo negative!? Had a twiddle with the scart and switched it off by the mains for a while but its still the same?!

Try another SCART cable. These things tend to snap inside the connectors and you can't repair them unless you're good with a soldering iron.

If it's not the SCART cable then the television has almost certainly developed an internal fault that cannot be fixed by "DIY" methods. It may the internal connections on the SCART which would be curable by replacing the socket. But if it's a compnent failure on the video circuits then the set's a write-off because it won't be economically repairable.

Unfortunately Tecknika, Tevion, Bush, Alba, Goodmans, Celcus televisions are well known for being very unreliable. They're cheap but they're not good value for money.
